Obituary – Paula May (Thompson) Hough
Paula May (Thompson) Hough, 79, a former resident of Renovo passed away, Saturday, Sept., 28, 2024 at Jersey Shore Nursing & Rehab.
Born January 31, 1945 in Honeybrook, PA she was a daughter of the late Paul M. and Sara Irma (Irwin) Thompson.
Paula worked as a teacher’s aide for the Renovo Elementary School and worked for Bucktail Medical Center in the kitchen and a nurse aide. She also was a unit secretary and nurse aide at Lock Haven Hospital.
Paula was a member of the Christian Community Church, South Renovo.
She enjoyed bingo, crocheting, reading, crafting and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Paula was a former member of Eastern Star.
Surviving are one son; Joseph E. (Vera J.) Hough of Renovo and two daughters Angela D. Hough of S. Renovo and Terri L. Hough of Renovo, six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Also, a brother Paul (Laura) Thompson of Chambersburg and two sisters; Rhoda (Steve) Sawyer of Christiana and Gail Thompson of North Carolina and a host of nieces and nephews.
Paula was preceded in death by a brother David Thompson.
A private viewing and service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be at Pennington Presbyterian Cemetery in Atglen, PA.
