Obituary – David M. Williams
David M. Williams, 53, of Avis passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born November 28, 1970 in Lock Haven, he was the only child of David L. and Beverly Hayes Williams.
David was a 1989 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School before earning his bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology from Lock Haven University.
He was employed as the Quality Manager at APP, Advanced Powder Products, Philipsburg.
When younger, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his dirt bike. He loved nothing more, though, than cooking.
In addition to his parents, David and Beverly Williams of Watsontown, he is survived by his children, Lauren Williams of S. Williamsport, Conner (Jessica) Williams of Flemington and Trista Myers of Avis; his girlfriend of 8 years, Michelle Parsons of Avis; his granddaughter, Adelynne; and his beagle, Buddy.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Delmont and Kathryn Williams and maternal grandparents, George and Dorothy Hayes.
Private services will be held for his family. Interment will be at Mt. Bethel Cemetery, Lamar.
