LHU Women’s Soccer ties Seton Hill on the road

GREENSBURG – Led by a shutout by goalkeeper Megan Miller, the Lock Haven women’s soccer team secured a 0-0 tie at Seton Hill in a non-conference match on Sunday (Sept. 8).

The Bald Eagles start the season with two consecutive ties after the 0-0 finish at Seton Hill.

Lock Haven finished with six shots in the contest and were led by two shots and one on-goal attempt by Eva Stoessel. Seton Hill moves to 1-0-1 on the year.

The Bald Eagles’ defense fought off 10 Griffins’ shots and three corner opportunities.

In net, Miller played the full 90 minutes for Lock Haven and finished with three saves.

The Bald Eagles return home on Wednesday (Sept. 11) to host Mansfield for a 5:30 p.m. match.
