Golf opens 2024-25 season at Misericordia

DALLAS – The Lock Haven women’s golf team hit the links for the first time in the 2024-25 season as the Bald Eagles traveled to Misericordia for their season opening match.

The Bald Eagles battled through a rain filled afternoon at the Irem Temple Golf Club.

A pair of rookie Bald Eagles paced the team today, as freshman Macy Trostle and Hannah Kopec each shot a 99.

Kendall Fedder rounded out The Haven’s top three with a 102 on the afternoon.

Lock Haven returns to the links on Sunday (Sept. 15) when they compete in the East Stroudsburg Invitational with a tee time of 1 p.m.
