Central Mountain Boys Soccer Dominates West Shamokin in Season Opener
BROOKVILLE-The Central Mountain boys soccer team kicked off their season with an impressive 9-0 victory over West Shamokin in the opening game of the Brookville Tournament on Friday. The Wildcats showcased their offensive firepower and defensive solidity, setting the tone for what promises to be a strong season.
Freshman Gabe Killinger made a remarkable debut, netting a hat trick to lead the scoring for Central Mountain. Joining him on the scoresheet, Cole Cooper added two goals, further solidifying the Wildcats’ dominant performance.
Alton Counsil, Mycah Carson, Nolan Cross, and Isaiah Brinker each contributed with a goal, rounding out the win for Central Mountain.
The victory propels the Wildcats into the tournament finals, where they will face off against Clearfield on Saturday.
