LHU Lacrosse lands four on IWLCA Honor Roll, Bald Eagles named Academic Squad

NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – The Lock Haven lacrosse team was named a 2024 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Academic squad and six athletes were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.

The IWLCA has named 324 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Academic Honor Squads for the 2023-24 academic year. To qualify for this prestigious honor, the women’s lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

The Bald Eagles secured a 3.3 GPA during the 2023-24 academic year to land the honor.

Kaitlyn Collins (Ringwood, N.J./Lakeland Regional), Abby Katrinak (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville), Josey Shaffer (Westminister, Md./Manchester Valley) and Kelsey Shultz (Camphill, Md./Cumberland Valley) were also honored by the IWLCA on Wednesday (July 24) as members of the 2023-24 Academic Honor Roll.

The IWLCA honored 524 student-athletes from 72 different institutions on the 2023 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
