Sentimental Journey takes precautions for record heat

From Staff Reports
With thousands of people expected to flock to the Piper Aviation Museum and Airport this week for the Sentimental Journey Fly-In event, extra precautions are being made for the safety of guests, staff, and volunteers.
The following information was sent to The Record Sunday afternoon:
In anticipation of the weather, the only air conditioned building is the blue building. We will set up extra chairs for people to come in and cool off. We will also go around in a golf cart with ice-cooled water.
Sunscreen, water, hats, and light-colored, short-sleeved shirts will help to reflect the sun during the day.
