Euphoria Heights Brewing Company: New Life for Old Elks Building

By Christopher Miller
LOCK HAVEN – Noah Schlesinger, whose voice can be heard from miles away along the airwaves, provided The Record with an update on Euphoria Heights Brewing Company – his plans for the old Lock Haven Elks Lodge.

“The construction timeline states that the front porch of the building will be completely renovated during the summer months and will be ready in time for LH Jams in August,” Noah said. “We are using the same architect as was used for projects at Jackass Brewing Company in Lewisburg and Rusty Rail Brewing Company in Mifflinburg, so he knows a thing or two about designing and building a brewery.”

Physical labor and building is being carried out by M&R Contracting.

Exterior demolition and renovation should take place shortly with minimal impacts to parking and traffic along Main Street.

Phase two of the project includes the entrance, foyer, and ballroom and should be completed by the end of September. Brewery equipment will be installed by the end of the year.

In total, if all goes well with construction with few, if any, hurdles, production could start ramping up of craft brews by the end of the year, if not early February.

“We are going to be focusing on craft beers for what’s on tap, but not excluding ciders and hard seltzers…food wise we do not have a definitive plan in place, but we know for a time we will be outsourcing that portion and probably leasing our kitchen to supply small plates,” Noah said.

Euphoria Heights Brewing Company will be opening in the old Lock Haven Elks Lodge “Main Event” building at 216 East Main Street in downtown Lock Haven.
