Twinkle Toes Dance Studio Celebrates 25 Years

Twinkle Toes Dance Studio celebrated it’s 25th anniversary with a memorable recital that left the audience spellbound. The recital held this past week on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at Price Auditorium showcased the culmination of years of hard work, passion, and artistic expression by the studio’s dancers.

Over the past 25 years, the studio has grown from humble beginnings to become a cornerstone of the community nurturing aspiring dancers, and fostering a love for the art form. Studio owner, Angela Peters, says “My goal has always been to inspire and create a positive environment for all my dancers. I’ve been blessed with 25 year of success. I couldn’t have done it without my teachers, students, parents, family, and especially my husband and 2 children.”

At the recitals, the love between the instructors and dancers is evident. All the dancers were eager to get pictures with their instructors at the conclusion of the dances. Miss Ang, as she is lovingly called by her students and parents, treats each child like they are her own. When they succeed, she is right there to cheer them on. When a student is upset….Miss Ang is right there crying with them. Instructors Annette Wockenfuss, Megan Marino, and Rachael Hanley also foster the same love and dedication to their students that Miss Ang does. Twinkle Toes is definitely more than a studio, it is a family.

Looking ahead, Twinkle Toes remains dedicated to nurturing the next generation of dancers and continuing the legacy for years to come. Registration is currently taking place for the Fall 2024-2025 season and will close in June. Ang encourages everyone to reach out soon because she already has over 100 dancers registered, and is close to being full.
