Advance Central PA and Clinton County Government Announce a Unique Student and  Industry Networking Event

LOCK HAVEN – Advance Central PA, the workforce development board serving  nine counties, in partnership with the Clinton County Government announce a new student and  industry networking opportunity taking place in June at the Piper Government Building in Lock  Haven.

Through the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry’s Business Education Partnership  grant, Advance Central PA aims to increase student, parent, and educator awareness of local  businesses and career opportunities in Central PA through deep dive networking events. Dinner  and Dessert with Clinton County Professionals allows a small group of high school students, along  with their parent or guardian, to connect with professionals working in local government, hear  inspiring career success stories, understand existing talent needs, and learn about career  opportunities and pathways.

The professionals representing a variety of departments within the Clinton County government  will provide insightful presentations allowing students and their families to leave the event with an  understanding of what it takes to operate the local government along with the diverse career  options in the county.

This event will take place at the Clinton County Piper Building Government Office, 2 Piper Way in  Lock Haven on June 13, 2024. Parents and students can register to attend this event at the  following link: bit.ly/3U2s334
