Early Wednesday Morning Fire Destroys Stoltzfus Butcher Shop

MILL HALL-Early Wednesday morning, a call came in reporting a 2ND ALARM structure fire at Stoltzfus Butcher Shop located at 1784 East End Mountain Road, Lamar township. The fire appears to have caused significant damage, possibly even resulting in a total loss of the structure. Responding to the scene were multiple fire stations, including Stations 11, 17, 13, 12, 8, 5, 4, and 22, along with support from DESDO Lycoming 45, 10, 9, 7, Centre 19, Lycoming 6, and tankers from Centre 5, 8, 16, 14, and Lycoming 3.

In response to the incident, Stoltzfus Butcher Shop announced their closure until further notice through a social media post on Wednesday morning. They assured their patrons that they would keep them updated on their progress via Facebook.
