LHU Circle K Club Wins Awards

LOCK HAVEN – The Kiwanis Club of Bald Eagle and Nittany Valleys is proud to announce that the Circle K Club at Commonwealth University-Lock Haven has won several awards at it’s recent Pennsylvania District Convention in Greensburg.

During the awards ceremony at the event, Club President Kiyona Potts and Club Treasurer Morgan Lesher were named as Distinguished Officers based on meeting several achievements and benchmarks throughout the year. Lesher was also awarded the Jack P. O’Carroll Jr Outstanding Club Treasurer Award, designed to recognize and honor one distinguished club treasurer for their outstanding work and service to the Pennsylvania District of Circle K International. In addition, the club received the Big Ten award, presented to clubs that have increased their membership by ten percent or more since the last administrative year.

“The BENV Kiwanis Club has sponsored the LHU Circle K since 2013 and we couldn’t be more excited for and proud of these young leaders.” said Chrissy Wise, Assistant Director of Student Engagement and Community Service at Commonwealth University – Lock Haven and Circle K club Advisor. “They poured their heart and soul into leading this club and service the greater campus community.”
