Celebrating PA 4-H Week and Ag Literacy Week at Lock Haven Catholic School

LOCK HAVEN – Last week marked a special occasion for the Clinton County 4-H community as they celebrated PA 4-H Week, Clinton County 4-H Week, and Ag Literacy Week. The Clinton County 4-H took an enriching initiative to engage with the Lock Haven Catholic School students, fostering a deeper understanding of agriculture and its significance in our lives.

The highlight of the celebration was the reading of the Ag Literacy book titled “Anywhere Farm” by the members of the Clinton County 4-H. As each student received their very own copy of the book to take home, they embarked on an educational journey delving into the world of agriculture and its possibilities.

Guided by dedicated volunteers Mackenzie Snook, 4-H alumni and Maggie Parks, President of the 4-H Club Barnyard Buddies, the students were introduced to the essence of 4-H and its potential to shape their futures. They learned firsthand about the care and companionship offered by bunnies, gaining valuable insights into responsible pet ownership and the interconnectedness of agriculture with everyday life.
