Obituary – Janet E. Seybold
Janet E. Seybold, 78, of Woolrich passed away Friday, March 8, 2024.
Born January 10, 1946 in Lock Haven, she was the only child of the late John E. and Florence R. Crowley.
Janet was a 1963 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On November 8, 1968, she married her best friend, Charles “Pat” Seybold, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage before his passing on March 7, 2019.
Janet was an accountant at Winner Packing before being employed in Accounts Payable at Hammermill Paper Co. until her retirement in 2002. In retirement, she worked at the front desk at the Lock Haven YMCA.
Janet loved wrestling. She was a member of the Lock Haven University Wrestling Club and was also inducted into the Lock Haven University Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Along with her husband, she was a member of the Elks.
She enjoyed reading.
Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Judy Seybold of Allenwood; her grandson and his wife, Forrest and Kylie Seybold of Allenwood; and her cat, Pockets.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 6 PM at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 PM until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions in Janet’s name may be made to either Lock Haven University Wrestling or the Clinton County SPCA through the funeral home.
