Obituary – Dolores Houser Frederick
Dolores Houser Frederick, 93, of Rote, PA passed away at the UPMC Williamsport Hospital on Monday Feb. 12, 2024. She was born in State College Oct 2, 1930, to the late Merrill and Carrie Markle Houser.
Dolores was united in marriage March 25, 1951, to Robert L. Frederick who preceded her in death February 9, 2016. She was a graduate of State College High School in 1948 and was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Philip M. (Cinda) Frederick of Williamsport, a daughter, Joan (Harry) Russell of Rote. Also 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Russell, Justin Russell, Michael Frederick, Shawn Frederick, Ami Musolino and Lynne Ivory and 9 great grandchildren, thanks to her first grandchild, Jennifer she was known as Geesie and that name passed down through all of her grandchildren. She is survived by a brother, Robert (Elaine) Houser of Pasco, Washington and a sister, Shirley (Robert) White of Kansas City Missouri.
She was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Dean, George and William Houser and a sister, Ellen Shinton.
Private funeral services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Gedon Funeral Home, 121 West Main Street, Lock Haven, PA. Officiating will be Pastor Rick Conklin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the New Love Center, PO Box 504 Jersey Shore, PA. 17740. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Rest Haven Memorial Park.
