Handgun Familiarization Course Offered
HYNER – The Western Clinton Sportsman’s Association of Hyner will be holding a Handgun Familiarization Course at the Harry Snodgrass Nature and Environmental Center.
This course was developed to familiarize those attending in the safe handling, storage and use of Handguns.
It is not designed, nor intended to certify or license any one to carry a handgun.
WCSA plans on holding this course over a couple day period. WCSA plans on beginning on March 9, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. The initial evening is intended to begin discussing the different types of Handguns available, different safe manners to carry and store Handguns and things to consider if you are planning on purchasing a Handgun. There will not be any firing or shooting of Handguns. At this first evening, an additional date will be decided to complete the course.
If you currently own a Handgun you are encouraged to bring it to the training with you.
If you bring a handgun please insure it is unloaded and secured either with a trigger lock or in a storage box, all handguns will be presented to the instructors for inspection upon entering the facility.

All participants of this Familiarization Course will be required to either be or become a member of the Western Clinton Sportsman’s Association. Current Memberships are $15.00 and are valid for one year.
