Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Northern Clinton County

STATE COLLEGE-The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Northern Clinton County including the Renovo area for Friday from 4p.m. till Saturday 1a.m. The Advisory calls for snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze with gusting winds up to 50mph.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
1 AM EST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow heavy at times, followed by some mixed
  precipitation. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 3 inches, with
  locally up to 4 inches on the higher terrain. Ice accumulations
  of a light glaze. Southeast winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Friday to 1 AM EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the evening commute. Strong winds
  could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will overspread the area late this
  afternoon into early this evening. The snow may come down
  heavily for a period of 2 or 3 hours before changing over to a
  wintry mix or light rain and drizzle late tonight.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on
driving conditions as winter weather impacts Pennsylvania
roadways.
