Obituary – Rosie G. Gottlieb
Rosie G. Gottlieb, 94, of Beech Creek passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Jersey Shore Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born November 27, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Byron and Dora Phillips Fisher.
On May 29, 1954, she married Gary L. Gottlieb, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage before his passing in 2013.
Rosie loved gardening. She also enjoyed music- whether singing or playing the guitar or mandolin.
Surviving is her son, Phillip (Linda) Gottlieb of Mill Hall; daughter, Wanda (Ronald) Smith of Florida; a brother, Albert (Carol) Fisher of Wisconsin; four grandchildren: Tracy (Shannon) Johnson, Marty Smith, N. Renee Smith and Melissa Smith; five great grandchildren: Alexis, Shurooq, Lamees, Raya and Jared; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by seven siblings.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 12 Noon at Hays Fearon Bossert Cemetery, Maple Ave., Beech Creek with Rev. Alan Eckenroad officiating.
