Obituary – Thomas Gary Mills
Thomas Gary Mills, 81, of Mill Hall died Sunday, December 10, 2023, at Bucktail Medical Center.
Born July 30, 1942 in Renovo a son of the late George A. & Martha E. (Jones) Mills.
He was a 1960 graduate of Renovo High School and a 1962 graduate of the former Williamsport Area Community College where he received a degree in mechanical drafting. Following WACC he graduated from the Allentown Police Academy. He went on to work in the Clinton County Court System and was a former county detective.
Thomas worked in law enforcement for 40 years. He was a member of the F.O.P. Lock Haven, Elks Lodge #182, and the Clinton Country Club.
He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and spending time with his friends and family.
Surviving are three sons; Thomas G. Mills, Jr of Lock Haven and James Mills and Michael (Christine) Mills both of Williamsport also a daughter, Ashley (Evan) Warden of Quakertown.
Several grandchildren and a great grandson survive.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother George Mills, Jr.
Private viewing and services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner.
