Obituary – Joyce W. Marshall
Joyce W. Marshall, 83 of Lock Haven, formerly of Beech Creek, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at The Gatehouse in Williamsport. She was born on May 7, 1940, to Harry Bower and Mabel Kreidler.
Joyce graduated from Bald Eagle Nittany High School and worked outside the home for many years.
She married Charles L. Marshall, Sr. on September 4, 1965. He proceeded her in death on April 14, 2018. Joyce was the loving mother of Ronald A. Bower, Sr. (Toni) of Mill Hall, Russell A. Marshall (Marilyn), of Muncy, Rodney K. Marshall (Colleen) of Marietta, Charles L. Marshall, Jr. of Union Grove, Wisconsin and David L. Marshall (Barbara) of Trout Run. She was proceeded in death by a son, Richard J. Bower (Ann) of Massachusetts; three sisters, Delilia Thal, Delores Mann and Harriet Bower and a granddaughter, Jennifer Bower.
Joyce is survived by a brother James Bower, sisters Janice Bower and Valeria Withers. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ronald A. Bower, Jr., Michael J. Bower, Alyssa N. Probert, Christopher Haggard, Kaylee M. Marshall, Chase L. Marshall, Shayna Schultz, Ashlee Hogsett, Kyle Bower, Crystal Moritko, David Marshall, Bobbi Jo Keith, Susan McMonagle and Desiree Lynch. She was also blessed with many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at the Liberty Baptist Church in Blanchard. Pastor David Sowers will be officiating. Friends will be received at 9:00 a.m. prior to the Memorial Service. Services will follow at 10:00 a.m.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 100 Bald Eagle Street, Blanchard, PA 16826 or the Clinton County SPCA, 33 Mill Road, Lock Haven, PA 17745.
