Bucktail kicks off 2023 season drills

FARWELL, PA- With a roster of 21 players, second-year head coach Frank Sutliff began running his 2023 Bucktail Bucks through their required PIAA heat acclimation drills on Monday.

Of those 21 Bucks, they return their entire starting offense and defense and will be looking for a successful season. Sutliff returns seven seniors and four players that were named to the District 9 Region 3 All-Region team.

Bucktail is set for an away scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 19 at Columbia Montour Vo-Tech before opening their regular season slate in a D9 Region 3 battle at Sheffield on Saturday, Aug. 26.
