Western Clinton County man goes independent rout in bid for district judge post
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Record has learned that a retired Marine Corps member has filed to run as an independent in seeking the Renovo area district judge position in the November election.
Clinton County Director of Voting Maria Boileau has confirmed that Eric Williamson has filed nomination papers as in independent candidate for the Magisterial District Judge 25-3-03 position in November.
Longtime Renovo area District Judge Frank Mills had won, unopposed, both the Republican and Democratic nominations in the May primary. He is seeking a fourth six-year term in office.
The Renovo area includes the townships of Chapman, Grugan, Leidy, East and West Keating and Noyes and the boroughs of Renovo and South Renovo.
There has been no candidacy announcement thus far from Williamson but his candidacy has been a topic on social media sites in the western end of the county.
