Keystone 10s win opener,10-0 over East Lycoming
WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Keystone 10-year-old team made its first game a successful one, a 10-0, 4-inning win over East Lycoming at Williamsport.
Carter Leone paced the Keystoners, hitting a double and a single and pitching a 4-inning, 1-hit shutout. He struck out four, issued no walks, and faced only 14 batters.
Leone had offensive help from Dylan McDermott with two singles and an RBI and singles from Ryker Packer, Rylin Bathurst and Karter Markle; Markle had two RBIs, Bathurst and Packer each with one.
Keystone will next play in a winners’ bracket final on Friday at Montoursville against an opponent to be determined.
