State police report $12,000 theft
CASTANEA TOWNSHIP, PA – State police are reporting that someone made off with over $12,000 in items stolen from Penn Line trucks parked at S. Hanna Street in Castanea.
Police said the incident was reported on June 22 and items taken ranged from $3,000 in rigging gear to “Notch” climbing gear valued at $1,700. The take also included ropes, Craftsman tools, two chain saws and a $900 leaf blower.
Police ask that anyone with information contact them at their Lamar barracks.
