Bucktail baseball falls to Muncy 18-0

FARWELL, PA- Bucktail played Mid Penn leading Muncy tight for two innings on Thursday before the flood gate would open. The visiting Indians would score 15 runs in the game’s final two innings of play and remain perfect in conference play with an 18-0 road victory in four innings.
Kyler Friese and Jeremy Gallagher each had hits for Bucktail. Muncy managed 16 hits, including a pair of home runs.
Muncy improved to 10-4 and clinched a District 4 Class 2A playoff spot.
The loss dropped Bucktail to 1-11 on the season and will next be in action on Friday when they host Montgomery.
