Gifts to the Renovo Area Public Library
RENOVO, PA- The late Irvin and Charlotte Edler and Ellen P. Williams loved Renovo. So much so that they left bequests to the Clinton County Community Foundation Inc. to support their beloved community, specifically the Renovo Area Public Library. The library has a growing number of ardent supporters, some of whom were on hand recently for a check presentation from the Foundation on behalf of the Edlers and Williams.
Shown, from left, are board members and friends of the library Paula Johnson, Mary Adams, Foundation board member Dennis Trout, Pat Hartman, Kristen Probst, Anna Knauff, Charles T. Barnum and Librarian Barb Rauch.
Rauch said the library is blessed to have such great volunteers. Penn State Masters Gardeners recently held a program at the library at 317 7th Street in Renovo. The library starts its annual Summer Reading Program for kids grades Kindergarten through Fifth in June. The Renovo library is supported by the Annie Halenbake Ross Library in Lock Haven. The gifts help support the library’s operations and programs, Rauch said. Visit the Renovo library’s social media page online at www.facebook.com/renovolibrary/.
