Central Mountain girls with solid Penn Manor showing

MILLERSVILLE, PA – The Central Mountain girls wrestling team had a standout showing at the Penn Manor tournament held on Sunday.

The four entrants went a combined 14-1. Emma Scarborough, Paisley Beatty and Kendall Wagner were champs, each going 4-0 with 4 pins. Gracie Johnson went 2-1 and finished second.

Wildcat coach Biff Walizer and assistant Dylan Caprio accompanied the team to Lancaster County after coaching the boys team at Altoona on Friday and Saturday.

Next up for the CM girls is their regional qualifier Sunday, March 5 at Milton High School. Top four at each weight there qualify for the state tournament at Central Dauphin High School.
