CM girls lose final regular season game at Huntingdon
HUNTINGDON, PA – The Central Mountain girls basketball team scored its season high in points with 51 Wednesday night but fell to the homestanding Huntingdon Bearcats in a tight contest 53-51.
The Lady Wildcat offense accomplished something that it had not done for much of the season, put together four solid quarters. Unfortunately, in the end it was Huntingdon who was able to make just enough plays to hold off CM. Tara Mader and Taylor Doyle each had 14 in the losing effort for CM. Danica Kelly had a solid game as well for CM with 9.
CM (7-15) will now prepare for a district semifinal matchup to be announced on Thursday. Huntingdon moved to 13-9 with the win.
