Lady Millionaires down CM, 43-25

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Central Mountain fell behind early but continued to chip away at the deficit before trailing by just four late in the 3rd period.  However, a 13-4 Williamsport advantage in period 4 doomed the Lady Cats as they dropped the Tuesday night contest to the Lady Millionaires by a score of 43-25.

As has been the case all too often this season, the Lady Cats struggled to find any offensive consistency.  The lone exception to that in this contest was a solid secondf quarter where they outscored their opponent 12-7.  Tara Mader who played very solid defense throughout the contest also led CM in scoring with 7 points.

Williamsport also won the JV contest.

CM, now 7-14, closes out the regular season on Wednesday with another road contest as they travel to Huntingdon (12-9).  Williamsport improved to 7-14 with its Tuesday win.
