CCEP to host Legislative Breakfast
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Clinton County Economic Partnership (CCEP) has announced it will host a Legislative Breakfast on Friday, March 24. The 8:30 a.m. session will be held at Haywood’s on the Green, 43 Fairway View Drive, Mill Hall, in the second-floor banquet room.
The breakfast offers an opportunity for Partnership members and guests to hear from state and federal elected leaders. Legislators invited to participate include 76th District State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz, 25th District State Sen. Cris Dush, and 15th District United States Congressman Glenn Thompson.
“We’re grateful to our elected leaders for making time to speak to members of the local business community,” said Partnership President Mike Flanagan. “We also thank Partnership members Haywood’s on the Green for their support, and BHE GT&S, a Berkshire Hathaway Energy Company, for their support as the breakfast sponsor.”
Rep. Borowicz was recently sworn in to her third term of office representing the newly redistricted 76th District, which includes all of Clinton County and part of Union County. Sen. Dush was elected Senator in 2020. The 25th District includes all of Clinton, Potter, Cameron, Elk and McKean counties and parts of Centre and Jefferson counties. Rep. Thompson has served in Congress since 2008 and through the recent redistricting gained Clinton County back into the 15th Congressional District, which includes all or part of 18 counties.
Each legislator will have the chance to offer comments on current issues. In addition, the breakfast will include a question-and-answer period.
The cost of the breakfast is $20 for Partnership members, and $25 for non-members. The meal will include eggs, potatoes, bacon, French toast bake, pastries, coffee and juice.
Registration for the breakfast is required by March 15. Those wanting to attend should contact the Partnership at 570-748-5782 or coordinator@clintoncountyinfo.com
