Lady Bucks cruise past CMVT, 55-8

BLOOMSBURG, PA- The visiting Bucktail Lady Bucks took advantage of the Mid Penn Conference’s lowest scoring team on Saturday afternoon on the road. The Lady Bucks would have three players reach double figures and allow just four field goals during the entire contest.
Bucktail raced out to an 11-2 lead over Columbia Montour Vo-Tech and saw that lead grow to 27-4 at the half.
The Lady Rams continued to struggle on offense, but did tally their best effort in the third quarter with 4 points, but Bucktail would counter with 15 points.
The Lady Bucks would hold CMVT scoreless in the final quarter of play to set the 55-8 final and see their overall record improve to 6-7. CMVT dropped to 0-15.
Freshman Kendall Wagner paced Bucktail with 15 points. Lily Francis and Kayla Probert would score 14 points and 13 points respectively.
9 Lady Bucks found the scoring column. Matti Mason would score 4 points. Lola English, Camri Cole, Dezlyn Halpate and Eva Sockman each scored two points and Alexis Lowery added 1 point.
Bucktail will have a much tougher task on Monday night when they travel to Milton to square off with the current top ranked team in District IV 1A Meadowbrook Christian (11-1).
