Obituary

Ronald George Fenton, 77, of Lock Haven, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born October 19, 1945 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late George and Lois E. Boyle Fenton.

George attended Penn State University before transferring to Lock Haven Teachers College where he graduated with a Major in Chemistry and a Minor in Mathematics.

He was employed at Piper Aircraft before going to work at Woolrich Woolen Mills for many years until his retirement.

George was a member of the Lock Haven Elks and Lock Haven Moose clubs.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing at Clinton Country Club and going on golf trips to South Carolina. He also enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada.

George loved socializing with his friends, especially his weekly pool league outings at different local establishments and clubs and his routine local restaurant outings.

He is survived by his daughter, Bobbi (Colby) Squier of South Carolina; sisters, Susan (Ken) DeLancy of Marysville and Carol (Alan) Kauffman of S. Williamsport; a step-son, Scott Rhine of Woolrich; his ex-wife, Linda Fenton of Woolrich; and his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
