Obituary
Patricia Irene Kern, 57, of Lock Haven, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at her home.
Born August 29, 1965 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late William Wayne Kern and Molly Ruth Lyons Kern, who survives in Belleville.
Patti was a 1983 graduate of Penns Valley High School and obtained her Certificate in Graphic Arts from the former Centre County Vo-Tech, now Central Pennsylvania Institute of Technology.
Throughout her working years, Patti was employed at Brodart, Lock Haven Hospital, Jersey Shore Hospital and most recently, Encompass Health of Nittany Valley.
Patti served as a cook and secretary for Clinton County Camp Cadet. She enjoyed crafting and painting and going for rides on her jet ski at Sayres Dam. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially their camping and beach trips, and was blessed to have made it to the Outer Banks each of the past three years. Patti also loved the time she spent with her dog, Ruger.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her companion of 15 years, Alan Sementelli of Lock Haven; three children, Tara Rae Long of Lock Haven, Loc Wesley Long of North Bend and Logan James Long of Greenville; two step-children, Destiny Long of New York and Katelynn Sementelli of Flemington; a brother, William Homer (L. Elaine) Kern of Blanchard; her grandson, Darren Stringfellow; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 26, 2022 at 7 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 with Pastor Donald Grant officiating.
Friends and family will be received for a time of viewing at the funeral home on Monday from 5 P.M. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Clinton County Camp Cadet.
