‘A Little Magic in the Air’ Saturday!
FARWELL, PA – A Little Magic in the Air, an annual walking tour of Christmas lights and more will be held tonight, December 10 from 6-8 p.m. on Central Avenue in Farwell. Excitement builds as the event has grown more and more each year
Central Avenue will close to traffic starting at 5:30 p.m. Local Firemen will be monitoring the entries to Central Avenue.
You are asked to enter at the Bucktail School entrance and park at the school campus. Treats will be given at homes throughout the Avenue so the best way to enjoy this event is on foot, but a trailer will be available for elderly and those not able to walk.
A beautiful tribute will be presented by Keith and Trish Wilson not far from the school on the right. You won’t want to miss it! The Bucktail Drumline will be our entertainment for the evening plus Santa’s live Reindeer will be at the first crossing and Santa toward the end of the street.
We look forward to seeing you and sharing the magic of the Christmas season! Dress warm! Gloves, hats, coats and smiles should be your attire for the evening!
A portable toilet will be placed at the abandoned crossing halfway through for your convenience
The Magic Began in 2016, thought up by the Bucktail Class of ’76, Deb Bauer, who passed away in 2017. The event started as an idea and a wish that Cheryl Daubert, who was sick with cancer and Deb was afraid that their neighbor, would not see another Christmas and wanted to make “Christmas on the Avenue” special for her.
Come out tonight and enjoy “A Little magic in the Air”
