SVRCS business students recognized by county

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Clinton County Commissioners Thursday authorized a proclamation designating Feb. 13 – 19 as National Future Business Leaders of America Week in honor of the members of the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School’s FBLA Team.

The commissioners congratulated the Sugar Valley delegation on “all of your accomplishments and thank you for your hard work and positive outlook.” The Future Business Leaders of America Club recently made a strong showing at the club’s regional competition, coming home with five first place awards.

Those who finished between first and third qualified to move on to the state competition in April at the State Leadership Conference in Hershey.

Award winners were Stuard Meixel, Nate Parker, GavinMorris, Garret Hampton, Ewan Morris, Isaiah Nearhoof, Blaine Walizer and Gwynnevere Showers.
