Pre-Valentine’s Day fun in downtown Lock Haven Friday evening

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Downtown Lock Haven Inc. has lined up a “Sip & Shop” event for Friday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. Downtown Manager Kira Rosamilia said participating members will offer prize giveaways, discounts, drinks, snacks, restaurant specials, and more.

She said participating merchants will be available for help picking out a gift. She said that’s the specialty for the organization’s members.

Rosamilia said, “It’s a festive evening where everyone can shop for your Valentine’s gift while having some fun this Friday. Multiple members will be offering free champagne, wine, beer, or bubbly nonalcoholic drinks. Some will also offer a treat while you shop. There will be discounts and prizes too and multiple restaurants are participating with a variety of discounts and specials.

The Downtown Manager said she would have the “steals and deals board” out Friday in front of the organization’s E. Main Street office to let everyone know the specials and deals. “I’m super excited because people are making fun cocktails too. Everyone is super pumped and excited. I know there are a lot of people that dislike Valentine’s day. Personally I love Valentine’s Day because you do not need a husband, wife, girlfriend or boyfriend to celebrate it. I believe everyone is loved and sometimes they don’t even know it. They’re loved either by a friend, neighbor, secret admirer, family, a teacher or co-worker. Valentine’s Day has a new twist and it’s a day to make everyone feel loved.”
