HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Sunday reported 8,391 new COVID-19 cases, a drop of more than 26-hundred from Saturday’s figure.

Hospitalizations across the state totaled 4,501, down four from Saturday, while those in intensive care units numbered 942, down 22 from Saturday.

Clinton County reported 33 new cases for a total of 6,382 cases. In Centre County 110 new cases were recorded for a total of 23,919. Lycoming County added 76 new cases for a total of 20,622.

The state Sunday reported 45 new deaths. The death count in Clinton County remained at 97.
