HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health on Saturday reported 6,424 new COVID-19 cases.

3,095 COVID patients are hospitalized in the state, unchanged from Friday and the highest number since last spring. Those in intensive care on Saturday numbered 738, up 36 from Friday.

Clinton County reported 35 new cases for a total of 5,776. In Centre County 97 new cases were recorded for a total of 22,114. Lycoming County added 134 new cases for a total of 18,604.

The state Saturday reported 86 new deaths. The death count in Clinton County remained at 86.
