The Little German Band Returns to Lock Haven’s Triangle Park
LOCK HAVEN, PA – Though it has been a few years since they have played in the Lock Haven Summer Concert Series, the popular Little German Band will be making a return this Friday, Aug. 6 at 6:00 p.m. at Triangle Park.
Established in 1961, The Little German Band is Centre County’s oldest continuously performing band. Two dozen musicians perform a variety of German marches, waltzes, polkas, and other favorites and wear lederhosen and dirndls.
The public is invited to attend this free summer concert. Seating will not be provided; therefore, the public is asked to bring a lawn chair. There is no rain location for this event.
While the committee is excited to offer these free concerts this summer, residents should remain vigilant to the threat of COVID-19. To successfully continue the summer concert series, residents and guests are asked to follow CDC and DOH guidelines to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19. To that end, the city will provide hand-washing stations at each of the summer concerts. Anyone who is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or is included in a higher risk population are encouraged to keep their health and the health of their fellow residents as their primary interest and not attend.
