Keystone Central launches new website

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – The Keystone Central School District, as of noon on Thursday, launched a new website, one Superintendent Jacquelyn Martin says will provide “a true reflection of what we do in the district.”

In notifying the media of the site and its new provider, Finalsite, the superintendent said the district is still “populating information and pages while we work out the ‘bugs.’”

The district release said the new website has a fresh look and improved functionality:

This new platform is aimed at helping parents, students and employees to easily access information in a timely manner. The new site has a customized design to be aesthetically pleasing as well as more user-friendly.

“Providing accessible and transparent communication to students, families, staff and our greater community is a priority identified in our comprehensive plan. It is important that our website provides a true reflection of what we do in the District” said Superintendent Jacquelyn Martin.

Chad Krape, Supervisor of Technology in KCSD has been the project manager to help the district realize their goal. “This updated site will provide a much more engaging interaction for our community members. We are now able to provide site-wide language translations and a dedicated mobile application putting Keystone news and updates in the palm of your hand.”.

Patti Stevenson, Administrative Assistant for Communications at KCSD has been instrumental in building the webpages and training staff. “While we are excited to debut our new website, we continue to work on adding photos and information.”
