Central Mountain’s Carpenetti Heartland Conference scholarship winner

DANVILLE, PA – Central Mountain senior Carolina Carpenetti is one of four students honored on Tuesday with a Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference scholarship.
Carpenetti is the daughter of Stefano and Alison Carpenetti of Lock Haven. She was a 4-year letter winner in girls’ tennis. Her future plans are to attend Notre Dame and major in psychology and to pursue a pre-med track.
In announcing the scholarship winners, the conference said, “These student-athletes have been chosen due to their outstanding achievements in the classroom and in their respective sports endeavors.”
Other recipients include Cassandra Gee, Loyalsock High School; James Koconis, Lewisburg High School; and Michael Balichik, Mount Carmel High School. All four will receive $500 scholarships.
