Patricia Ann Monk – Obituary
Patricia Ann Monk, 65, of Loganton, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at her home after her courageous battle with health complications.
Born on July 7, 1955 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Harry S. and Nora E. Fetterman Bower, Sr.
Patricia worked as a bartender at her brothers’ former establishment, The Clintonian, Mill Hall.
On February 9, 1990 in Belaire, MD, she married Charles I. “Chuck” Monk, Jr., who survives.
Patricia was a past member of The Clintonian Dart Team. She enjoyed gardening and had a special place in her heart for her many pets over the years. Most of all, she simply loved her time spent with her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Lisa (Dave) Heaton of Beech Creek and Kristy (Shane) Simcox of Mill Hall; five siblings, Mary (Robert) Thomas of Beech Creek, Nora (Charlie) Wagner of Mill Hall, Sonny (Mary Ann) Bower of Flemington, Nancy (Guy) Stahl of Mill Hall and Donna (William) Becker of Loganton; five grandchildren, Ski (Tiffany) Stringfellow of Beech Creek, Caitlyn (Michael) Stover of Howard, Nova Simcox of Mill Hall and Mason and Ellie Heaton of Beech Creek; three great-grandchildren, Aubree and Madison Stringfellow and Noah Stover; and one great-grandchild expected.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High Street, Flemington, PA 17745.
An urn and family visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 10 A.M. with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 A.M. with Rev. Dr. Russell Moldovan officiating.
Patricia’s burial at Tylersville Cemetery will take place privately at a later time.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Lock Haven Dialysis Center.
