KCSD Super’s Report: COVID community spread down; commencement attendance looking up
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Keystone Central School District Superintendent Jacquelyn Martin passed along some good news on a couple fronts in her Friday weekly update to the school community. These include more tickets being made available for commencement at the district high schools and a significant drop in the spread of COVID-19 across the school district attendance area.
The superintendent’s report:
April 30, 2021
KCSD Staff and Community,
The community numbers are getting better! This is the first time Clinton County has been in the moderate range for quite a while. Currently within KCSD there are three active cases of Covid-19 among our staff and four among our students across four different schools. Please continue following all safety guidelines and keeping pandemic contacts to a minimum. Please be sure to report any known cases to the appropriate building principal and follow the social distancing guidelines. Keep your child home if they may have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19, or if they exhibit any of the Covid-19 symptoms.
Below is the most recent data for community spread for the counties in our school district:
* indicates substantial level of community spread (over 100 cases per 100,000 people)

The recent decision by the Governor to lift some of the event restrictions on Memorial Day will allow us to provide ample ticketing to both of our Graduation Ceremonies. This was welcome news as we plan graduation events for the Class of 2021. Information for seniors and their families will be distributed by the high school principals.
We are planning for summer learning opportunities for our students. Please review the attached flyer for information about Keystone Camp which will be held on Monday through Thursday form 8:25 until noon brom July 12 – August 12, 2021.
In honor of all of the marvelous moms…Have a Happy Mother’s Day Weekend!
Respectfully,
Dr. Jacquelyn Martin
