HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health Saturday confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., November 21, that there were 6,778 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 302,564. The number is the third highest one-day total and represents a slight drop from the Thursday and Friday amount of new cases.

There were 112 new deaths reported on Saturday for a total of 9,801 deaths attributed to COVID-19. The number of deceased is the second highest on record; deaths surpassing 100 each of the last four days.

Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 18 to 508; Centre County, up 80 to 5,582; Lycoming up 80 to 1,660. Other area counties include Cameron, 18; Clearfield, 1,146; Potter, 134; and Union, 1,234.

There were 5,741 Clinton County residents with negative test results, an increase of 42 from Friday.
