HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health Wednesday confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., November 18, that there were 6,339 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 281,852. The number represents a new one-day high.

There were 110 new deaths reported on Wednesday for a total of 9,465 deaths attributed to COVID-19. The number of deceased also represents a new one-day high.

Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 31 to 452 (the largest one-day jump to date); Centre County, up 89 to 5,329; Lycoming up 65 to 1,463. Other area counties include Cameron, 17; Clearfield, 975; Potter, 118; and Union, 1,041.

There were 5,636 Clinton County residents with negative test results, an increase of 53 from Tuesday.
