COVID-19 Update: Statewide Surge Continues; Clinton, Up 11; Centre, Up 134; Lycoming, Up 41
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health Monday confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., November 16, that there were 9,675 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 269,613. The information covers the last two days.
As of 11:59 p.m., Sunday, November 15, there were 51 new deaths reported for a total of 9,325 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 11 to 402; Centre County, up 134 to 5,178; Lycoming up 41 to 1,341. Other area counties include Cameron, 16; Clearfield, 874 (a jump of 63); Potter, 105; and Union, 1,016 (a jump of 50).
There were 5,541 Clinton County residents with negative test results, an increase of 30 from Saturday.
