Crystal O. Hamm – Obituary

Crystal O. Hamm, 63, of Flemington passed away at her home on Thursday, November 12, 2020.

Born February 24, 1957 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of Russell Bauman and Frances (Miller) Kunes.

Crystal attended Lock Haven High School, earning her diploma in 1971.

She was employed for many years at Woolrich Woolen Mills and then as a CNA at Susque View Home from 2001 until the onset of her illness.

On December 20, 2005, she married Charles Hamm who preceded her in death on January 29, 2015.

Crystal enjoyed doing puzzles and puzzle books, reading, spending time outdoors, and collecting hummingbirds.

In addition to her mother, Frances Kunes of Blanchard, she is survived by two sons, Andrew Murray of Loganton and Dustin Murray (Maribeth Bitner) of Avis; her sister, Francine (Mike) Rothrock of Richfield; a daughter-in-law, Katie Murray of Blossburg; two step-sisters, Pam Slaterback and Linda Ackley; two step-brothers, Jim and Doug Embick; nine grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Along with her father, Russell Bauman and husband, Charles Hamm, she was preceded in death by her son, John Murray in 2012; her step-father, Bruce Kunes; two brothers, Russ and Michael Bauman; and a step-sister, Ginny Hackenberg.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 11 A.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745.  Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Mill Hall.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 until 8 P.M. and again on Friday from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions in Crystal’s name may be made to either Susque View Home or the Clinton County S.P.C.A. through the funeral home.
