COVID-19 Update: Statewide Surge Again Sets New Record; Clinton, Up 14; Centre, Up 56; Lycoming, Up 37
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health Saturday confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., November 14, that there were 5,551 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 259,938. This is the highest daily increase of cases.
As of 11:59 p.m., Friday, November 13, there were 50 new deaths reported for a total of 9,274 deaths attributed to COVID-19.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up 14 to 391; Centre County, up 56 to 5,044; Lycoming up 37 to 1,300. Other area counties include Cameron, 16; Clearfield, 811 (a jump of 52); Potter, 97; and Union, 966 (a jump of 44).
There were 5,511 Clinton County residents with negative test results, an increase of 30 from Friday.
