COVID-19 Update: Statewide Surge Growing; Clinton, Up Seven; Centre, Up 55; Lycoming, Up 46
HARRISBURG, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Health Wednesday confirmed as of 12:00 a.m., Nov. 11, that there were 4,711 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 243,368. The additional positive cases, for the second day in a row, mark the highest one-day total to date. There were 9,086 total deaths attributed to COVID-19 in the Tuesday report; that number had not been updated as of noon on Wednesday.
Local counties’ numbers: Clinton County, up seven to 349; Centre County, up 55 to 4,768; Lycoming up 46 to 1,173. Other area counties include Cameron, 16; Clearfield, 670; Potter, 84; and Union, 868.
There were 5,428 Clinton County residents with negative test results, an increase of 34 from Tuesday.
