Lucille Kay Peck – Obituary

ObitArtLucille Kay Peck, 68, of 200 East Keller Street, Castanea, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Lock Haven Hospital.

Born on February 8, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Florence Reeder Peddigree.

Lucille was a 1964 graduate of Lock Haven High School.

On March 12, 1977 in Lock Haven, she married Haven Peck who preceded her in death on December 26, 2011.

Lucille was employed by Keystone Central School District, working in the cafeteria at Robb Elementary School.

She attended the First Church of Christ, Lock Haven, where she was baptized.

Lucille enjoyed word searches, reading, and collecting Snowbabies.

She loved animals, especially her dogs: Bella, Judy, Jasper, Bandit, and Lady; and cats: BJ, Buddy, Simon, Sampson, and Tommy.

Surviving are two sons: Scott L. (Penny) Peddigree of Lykens and Donald S. Peck of Lock Haven; four sisters: Elaine (Jim) Conners, Roberta McGhee, Sandra (George) Yost, and Debbie (Jeff) Truax; and three brothers: Torence (Doris), Greg (Louis), and Jerry (Joann) Peddigree.

In additional to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six sisters: Anna, Delores, Evelyn, Rosemary, Janet, and Patty; and two brothers: Lawrence, Jr. and an infant brother, Baby Boy Peddigree.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 2 PM at the Dunnstown United Methodist Church, 54 Church Street, Lock Haven, with Rev. Roger Yoder officiating.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington to help with the purchasing of a cemetery marker.
